What fun exploring the North Side with Kylie and Matt this past Sunday! As to be expected, they were bit nervous at first, but quickly warmed to the camera as the session went on. (I wish the weather here warmed as easily!) Matt was great at keeping Kylie relaxed with his silly faces!
I brought my part-time assistant Sara with me, who grabbed a few shots herself. Enjoy a few of my favorites from the session!

Love those graffiti walls!

Apparently geese are pretty aggressive animals, as Kylie can attest. Luckily they’re not too hard to fend off!

And of course we had to toss in a few of the more traditional heads-on shots…

I love the grainy film look in black and white images!

Notice we got some great images in front of the Pittsburgh skyline! As you can see, it’s not necessary to hit the photo ‘hot spots’ on the West End Overlook or Mount Washington to get some great images of the city. And here’s a big bonus from shooting on the North Side: the bridges are so close!

You guys did great! I’m looking forward to shooting your wedding this summer!!
